As Per Your Request - As Per Your Demand - We have put together a private - at "your home" 8 hour BBQ & Smoking class!!! This class is for 2 to 12 people but with enough food to serve all of the chefs and their partners!!! Additional Chefs can be added at $115 each with a maximum of 20 (chefs) people.
This class is designed for those who have been unable to make it to our location but wish to take part in learning how to properly smoke some food or for those who have made it to our location but wish to have some personal attention!!!!! This class does have some restrictions so please read the description of this class very carefully!!!
During this special class the students at their home.... and with their own equipment... will make some BBQ sauce... and they will with their own hands prepare and smoked some chicken wings - and finish them off two different ways...they will also smoke some ribs - two different ways.., a turkey, a full ham, some fish, some pies, some cuiche, a reverse seared prime rib, a bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, a matambre, and a pulled pork. In addition .. and depending what is in season the students will prepare some vegetables --- this might include some sweet potatoes, regular potatoes... and possibly some turkey dressing. To keep everyone happy and depending on how your class goes you might also prepare and smoke a couple of pizzas. Students for this class can request that certain items be included in the class but keep in mind that menu changes can sometimes increase the price of the class!!!
As we mentioned this class has some restrictions - each group must have at least three smokers ready to use at the class. The smokers need to be either charcoal or pellet driven. Most of the students who have taken this class have one or two pellet type smokers for the classes use. Without the proper equipment this class can be very difficult to complete.
The cost of the class includes room for up to 12 students and 12 others (Usually Their Partners) who might like to hang around for testing the food as it comes off of the smoker. This is a hands on class that is designed to help those with a smoker learn how to prepare several different type of proteins on their smoker. The class is 8 hours long and while we always try we can never guarantee that the pulled pork will be done by the end of class.
The cost of the class does not always include our travel. As with our other classes we travel up to 20 miles away from our local facility at no charge. For locations over 20 miles our usual fee is $1.00 per mile. This is something you should discuss with us prior to booking your class.!!!
