Here is the thermometer we use to verify that all foods are really really done to a perfect temperature!!! So we use our basic probe thermometers and then verify that the foods are done using this great TCT572 quick reacting ---- NSF Certified thermometer. It has a 3 to 6 second response time with a 1.5 MM thin tip!!! Is that great or what!!! It is not for the slight of heart as it runs about $56.00... but when we want to make sure a steak or halibut fillet is perfect... this is our tool!!! So - when is a product on a grill done? Yep.. it is.. !!! But really.. how do you know? Especially if you are at a friends house or cousin Joes. Well pull out and use your CDN NSF certified instra Read Thermometer. Great --- cool tool that you can carry around in your bag, glove box or pencil holder.

I have used several thermometers over the years. You could cook your fingers waiting for them to come up to temperature. However, the thermocouple on the TCT572 is really fast, saving your fingers as well as time. I liked mine so much I bought a second one as a Fathers Day gift for my Father-In-Law.
